I'm trying to write an essay about Hamlet and them randomly 'We Will Rock You' pops into my head. And then rugby.

Can someone please make a rugby movie based of Hamlet? I think it would kick butt. Also, the soundtrack is already started! :)

Oh yah, cool moment yo. I was writing an essay about the play 'Death of a Salesman' when one of my all time favorite Yellowcard songs popped it my head. It matched the play perfect! And then I realized the song was called 'Death of a Salesman'. It took me another 5 minutes to connect the dots. Oops.

Coming Back

It's been a really long time! I got so caught up in trying to make my blog like every other beauty and fashion blogger that I kind of got sick of it. I'm going to try to blog more. But this time, it'll be about what I want instead of just what I think everyone else wants.

Love-Day Sunday

I've been in a bit of a bad mood today so I thought now would be a good time to start my new series on my blog. Basically, I just want to spread the word about some of my favorite bloggers and youtubers. I think Sundays are the perfect day to share the love!!

This week I want to talk about my favorite blog. I have like 3 that are kind of tied but this one is definitely #1.

Busy Bee Lauren

This is a super cute pic of her and hubby. They are stylish and nerdy (Oh my heck I LOOOOVE Doctor Who!!!), basically the best combination EVER! Lauren has the most amazing style and I love her series 'Tumblr Thursday'. Basically, she has the same interests as me so instead of spending hours on tumblr, I can just check out her blog every thursday to see the real gems.

Another reason I love her blog so much is because I can relate to her in sooo many ways. No need to elaborate on that but reading about her experiences gives me inspiration and proof that things DO get better. Lauren has had TONS of trials but she always seems to get past them and look at the brighter side of things. I want to be more like her. That would be awesomespice.

Transitional Weather and Hair

Basically, I haven't blogged in like FOREVER!! Bad Kelsea! I want to start blogging again. Not that anyone in their right might would care. I'm not the most exciting person.

It's been FREEEZING lately! Hence the super duper cute hat and scarf. And that sweater is wool by the way. Yah, it's THAT cold....

And although it's super subtle and you probably couldn't even tell, I freaking ombred (is that even a word?!?) my hair! Total hair experiment and total SUCCESS! I filmed it. You'll see it eventually. 

Grandma Chic

I walk into church today and the first thing my friend says to me is "You look so grandma-y". That's a compliment, by the way. Grandma chic is the way to go. The necklace is from Suzy Shier and the shoes are from Ross. As for the shirt and skirt... Value Village all the way.

200 SUBSCRIBERS!

I haven't been very good at updating my blog. It's hard because I rarely wear outfits anymore. However, I am most definitely wearing an outfit tomorrow so I'll do an outfit post then!

This is more of a YAAAAYYYY ME post. Today I reached 200 subscribers! I'm pretty much dying inside. When I started my youtube channel I wasn't sure if I could even reach 20. My mind is completely blown and I am soooo grateful for all the support I have received thus far. If you haven't seen my yt channel yet, please check it out!

Perfect One Piece - Casual and Dressy

I fell in love with this swimsuit the first moment I saw it in La Vie En Rose. I love the colour and the bow. I'm a huge sucker for bows! Even though I'm not getting it (It isn't flattering on my body type) I wanted to make a couple outfits to show that it's basically the perfect swim suit. Not only is it cute and modest for the beach but it's easy to go out after because it's easy to dress up!This first outfit it dressy. It's a shame to cover up the bow so instead of a dress, I picked out a cute knee length skirt from Forever21. Neutrals are perfect for this outfit because the swim suit itself is a pop of colour. I also chose a sheer black cardigan so there would be sleeves but it wouldn't cover the colour or the bow. Both the headband and the bracelet are kind of vintagey looking and the bow on the clutch pulls the entire outfit together. I've been wanting nude pumps so I had to use them to finish the outfit.
This outfit is super casual. Perfect for grabbing ice cream with some friends or going for a walk with your beau. I'm totally a hat person so a floppy hat is a must! The white eyelit lace skirt is waaay cute and modest at the same time. I really liked the orange cardigan because I feel like orange and blue are perfect beach colours. Finish it up with a printed beach bag and a pair of gold flips flops and you're good to go.
Maybe these outfits aren't your style but I seriously with I had them.

Day 10 and Other Things

Here is the last day of my 30 for 30. As in the last day I participated. I'm still going to do outfit posts. I haven't posted for a while because my photographer was camping. (Love ya Dad!)

I've never caught a fish before but at my work, you can go fishing. I promised my family I would catch us dinner but no one believed me. I spent nearly 4 hours outside trying to catch a fish but nothing. Finally some nice fly fishers pulled my boat over and taught me how to fly fish. It was only a couple minutes later that I caught this beauty! It's a 22inch rainbow trout. Pretty good for my first go, eh?

You can also go boating at the lake so on friday night, me and my friend Cassidy decided to go kayaking. Not a big deal right? Well, it was super cold and it had just rained so the lake was empty. In fact, it was super windy. The kayak kept almost tipping because of the wind. Me and Cass bundled up. My co-workers thought we were crazy but we had fun!

Updaaaaaaaate

Sadly, I have been unable to post recently. I have I think 2 outfit pictures to post but I'll do that tonight seeing as I'm at work right now. I just wanted to let you guys know that I will no longer be participating in this round of 30 for 30.

I didn't except to get a job and since I did, doing the 30 for 30 challenge isn't practical for me. I wear a uniform 5 days a week and unless I go out at night, I don't end up wearing an outfit. Just my jammies. haha.

I want to try again maybe in the fall or winter (It's easier to remix then too. Scarves and tights YAAAYY) but it's just not convenient.

I'm still gonna post outfit pictures though. Just not every day. Only when I wear outfits. ♥

Workworkworkworkworkworkwork

Today there will be no outfit pictures. =[ There is a reason, I assure you. In fact, there are 2.

#1 By brother is using the computer with all my pictures to fix my sister's boyfriend's computer. Got that?

#2 The only thing I wore today was my kahki shorts and my work shirt. Yah, not very blog worthy. I'll post one of my 30 for 30 outfits tomorrow.

Is anyone interested in how I plan on sprucing up my work uniform? If so, I'll totally do a post/make a video on it.

Day 9

I traded another thing out. I can't remember what it was but I needed that pink top because I went job hunting yesterday. Basically, here is how it went...

At 11 I dropped of my resume at my #1 pic, by 3 they called to arrange an interview with was at 12 today. By 12:30 they called me to let me know I got it!

WOO FREAKING HOO!

It's an awesome job. I'm outside most of the time and it pays well. It's also full time (mon-fri 9-5) so I get to play with friends n the evenings and weekends.

Oh, and I also got a call from another place I applied to set up an interview. I said no though.

Day 8

Second time in that skirt, second time in that shirt and 3rd time in those shoes. I'm already repeating like crazy! There are a couple things I haven't worn yet but I've had no desire to wear them. I guess I'll have a trade a few things.

Today has been extraordinarily successful. I woke up on time, ate healthy, filmed a couple videos and most exciting of all.... I reached 50 subscribers! I'm kind of dying inside. The good kind of dying, though. I always hoped I'd reach 50 eventually but I never imagined I would as quickly as I did. It makes me feel confident and wonderful and totally inspired to make more videos. So watch out!

Day 7

As you can see, I really enjoy photoshop. haha. I have to edit the pics anyways (size, not details) so I figure, why not make these pictures a little more interesting to look at?

Day 6

This is what I'm calling Day 6ish in my head. This was saturday but I didn't count saturday as part of my 30 for 30. This is me and 3 of my friends in our outfits for the Party Rock Anthem dance party. We look pretty rad, eh?

My actual Day 6 outfit is quite different. haha

I LOOOOOVE rain! So much!

I have this weird habit of holding my skirt up a bit. I did that in pretty much all my grad dress pics. It's weird.

Fathers Day and Computer Issues

Happy Fathers Day!!

My daddy is a wonderful, genius, amazing father. He's always there for me whether it's to help me with my english homework or to let me rant about nothing and everything. He's always been there for advice or even just a hug. I love you dad!

On another note, I never actually did my 30 for 30 outfit yesterday. My friend had a themed birthday so once I finally got out of my sweat pants, I was wearing leapard print leggings and faux pink highlights. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I did wear a remixed outfit today but my dad's fixing the computer (On fathers day!?!?! what is this!!!) so I can't really post anything until tomorrow. Same with my videos. I keep feeling so guilty for not posting anything today but there's always tomorrow. Anyway, I'm not even sure if the videos I took today will even turn out. I was kind of tired.

Now I'm just lying in bed and my jammies, seeing if I can manage to get anything out of the videos I took.

Day 5

I bought a hat today. It made all the difference. =]

Basically my friend called me and gave me 10 minutes to get ready to go to the mall. Dresses and tights and easy quick fixes so here you go. The oxfords kept it casual and the scarf added a bit more colour.

Day 4

It was very windy outside today. Because of the cool weather, I went for my new maxi shirt. It gave my outfit a casual chic feel. I wore the necklace because It was a bit too casual. Oh, and those are the gladiators I trade my black flip flops for.

Day 3

My dad was nice enough to come out and take pictures for me. I wore my favorite black and grey striped shirt (It has the coolest shoulders - you'll be able to see them better in my outfits of the week video) and my grey oxfords. I wore a turquoise skirt for a pop of colour. I was really digging pearls today so I paired my mom's old earings (I LOVE handmedowns) with a necklace I made myself.

You can't see it but I have a little scratch on my nose. One of my kitties thought it would be fun to play 'Got Your Nose'. I didn't find it fun.

sooooo blissfully happy!!

I and over the moon happy right now. I posted my first youtube video a week ago and I now have 24 subscribers and I'm the 64th most subscribed guru this month in Canada!!! It might not seem like much to some but to me it's absolutely wonderful and amazing.

Day 2

Today I wore my brown tiered skirt from VALUE VILLAGE with a flowy floral shirt from Kohls. I paired it with my structures jean jacket from Winners and my gold gladiators from.... Ross I think. I'm trading out my black flip flops for the sandals. They're way prettier. I wore some vintage earing (they were my great grandma's), a bronze peace sign bracelet and a black heart pendant necklace.

Day 1

I forgot to take a picture of my outfit before I took it off. Yah, I'm already off to a bad start. I took some screen caps of a video I took. Not the best quality but hey, at least it's something. I wore my purply-bluish blouse, my black and white houndstooth skirt and my black wedges. I paired the items with hot pink tights and a black belt. I took and video showing off the outfit. Camera and videos

So, I just figured out that Windows Movie Maker does NOT save HD. Which sucks. I've been taking HD videos with my dad's camera (I don't have one) so I feel like I've been wasting time. I really haven't but it feels that way.

I'm planning on shooting my 30/30 Challenge video tomorrow. I'll take pictures of all my clothes then too. I might take the pictures/video outside to get better lighting. We'll see. I'm still trying to figure this all out.

Oh, and the next video I post should be HD. I'm trying out a new video editing software. Figers crossed.
